On August 21, a story shared by a café owner named Mr. A in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, was aired on JTBC's Case Chief. According to the broadcast and Mr. A, on August 20, a customer, Mr. B, came to the café, ordered five drinks, and left the store with two carriers filled with the beverages.

Shortly after, Mr. B returned to the café, claiming that the carrier had malfunctioned and spilled all the lattes while walking, demanding the café make new drinks for him. Mr. A's wife responded by saying, "This happened outside the store, and we don't know how the carrier got damaged. We can remake the drinks if you pay for them again."

However, Mr. B allegedly said, "You shouldn't run a local business like this," and demanded compensation for the cleaning costs of his clothes, which were stained with coffee. He also told the café staff to clean up the coffee spilled outside.

Mr. A's wife offered to remake the drinks for half price, but Mr. B refused this offer. Furthermore, Mr. B allegedly slammed the remaining drinks onto the counter, causing water bottles to topple and spill water all over the floor. Without apologizing, Mr. B then left the store and reportedly complained to the café's head office.

Mr. A revealed on the broadcast that Mr. B is a kindergarten principal in the same area. While Mr. A acknowledged that "it might have been the café's fault if the carrier was damaged," he expressed frustration over Mr. B's "authoritative attitude and demand for free replacements." He also shared that his wife, who is in the early stages of pregnancy, was so distressed by the incident that she couldn't sleep and had to visit the hospital.

The story has sparked a debate among viewers, with opinions divided between those accusing Mr. A of poor customer service and those considering that Mr. B might have genuinely encountered a faulty carrier.
